Meet Oakwood

Oakwood Financial Services was founded in 2014 and provides whole-of-market independent financial advice to individuals, couples, family groupings and small corporates. We are a privately owned company and serve clients in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties from our home in Flackwell Heath near High Wycombe. We are directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.

We believe in professionalism, expertise, quality service and high standards. We help our clients reach rational and relevant investment decisions that have a positive impact on their lives, and the lives of their family.

Meet the team

Isaac Gibbs, Senior Financial Adviser – isaac@oakwood-fs.co.uk

Isaac has enjoyed working in the financial services sector for the last 25 years. Most of that time was with Prudential supporting and training financial advisers, before embracing the challenge and becoming an adviser himself in 2013. He joined Oakwood in 2018.

When he’s not supporting Oakwood clients, Isaac spends as much time as possible with his wife and two young boys.

Ben Hug, Financial Adviser – ben@oakwood-fs.co.uk

Ben is a fully qualified financial adviser who has worked in the financial services industry since 2016, not only in the UK but also in Australia and New Zealand. He works alongside Isaac, supporting clients with their pension and investment requirements.

Ben likes to keep himself active by going on hikes, surfing, playing golf and football.

Frances Wontner, Financial Administrator – frances@oakwood-fs.co.uk

Frances has worked in the City and financial industry for over 15 years and has specialised in financial services for the last 10 years. She joined the team at Oakwood when the company was founded in 2014. Frances supports Isaac and Ben in both the annual reviews and the daily servicing of your investments and plans.

Off duty, Frances spends time with her three boys and on touchline duties.
